Jana

jana_web-4

Jana gets up every morning and feels that she does not have any energy left. She does not have energy for common activities, and she mostly feels overwhelmed. She tries to force herself on activities related to school or social situations. She gets energy from her morning routine. She likes having porridge for breakfast. She must prepare it by herself, because it should have always the same structure that nobody else can do so well. After the usual and well-known morning preparation she goes to school wearing her headphones as she does not want to be disturbed by the surrounding stimuli. Sometimes, she cannot concentrate because of the surrounding noise. She hears the cars´ brakes squeaking, two people behind her are talking loudly and she needs to follow the navigation. Jana has always been bad at spatial orientation since childhood and until now she uses her fingers if she needs to count something quickly. On the bus she is wondering if she might have an autism spectrum disorder, but she has not yet undergone any diagnostics. She does not know who to contact and what she can do about it. She needs to make an extra effort, to make a phone call, but she likes writing emails and she can talk with her friends or people she knows without any problems. Jana is also known for being emphatic and helpful.
